The ICUH 2008 Organizing Committee invites all delegates to the ICUH 2008 Welcome Reception. Start off the Conference with this opportunity to meet with colleagues, network and catch up with friends! This will be your first opportunity to view some of the interesting posters that will be presented over the conference as well as drop by the participating exhibit booths.

Admission to the Welcome Reception is included for delegates with full conference registration or those delegates that have purchased tickets.

Evening Social – Off-Site Event

Nestled in Stanley Park with an unbeatable view of Coal Harbour, the Vancouver Rowing Club is the ideal location for the ICUH 2008 Evening Social. A ten-minute walk from the Westin Bayshore Resort and Marina, this heritage building was opened in 1911 and still maintains its original charm. Have a friendly chat in the cozy bar ambiance of the Trophy Room or savor some delicious snacks in the Harbour Room while enjoying the music stylings of Delhi 2 Dublin. This band’s sound is electro acoustic Celtic-Punjabi fusion... with touches of reggae, breakbeat, drum 'n' bass and hip-hop, creating a highly charged multi-cultural dance celebration.
